AR Future Projects Awards 2023

Launched in 2002, this awards are a window into tomorrow’s cities. Spanning 12 categories, they celebrate excellence in unbuilt and incomplete projects, and the potential for positive contribution to communities, neighbourhoods and urban landscapes around the world.

Description
Projects on the drawing board or at an early stage of construction (expected completion date should be after 1 June 2023), that have a client associated to them and fit one of the following 12 categories - please note that, for all categories, it is very important for the judges to understand the context in which the scheme will be built.
- Civic and community
- Commercial mixed-use
- Cultural regeneration
- Education
- Hotels and leisure
- Housing
- Infrastructure
- New and old
- Offices
- Regeneration and masterplanning
- Retail
- Tall buildings
Unbuilt and speculative work as well ideas that are currently being tested and investigated:
- Student prize
- Competition entry prize
- Research and design prize
