Description
Ideally this initiative will provide ideas and solutions for broader national application, while specifically providing solutions for low income replacement housing in Smithfield. On a site in Smithfield, Habitat for Humanity South Hampton Roads and the Town of Smithfield intend to replace substandard housing in the Pinewood neighborhood currently slated for demolition. The competition program below provides for replacement of three duplex structures and the addition of six new single family homes.
