Description
The Process Competition will not present participants with a project brief or a design problem to solve. Rather, we are providing participants with a tool and a community; the Archollective Pin-Up Space and a call for motivated and enthusiastic architecture students. Participants will document their design process alongside hundreds of other architecture students across the globe while developing studio projects that have already been (or will be) assigned.
As studio work progresses, your pin-up space will grow with new images, ideas, and feedback from your peers. How you use Archollective is just as important as what you’re designing. This is not a competition where the sexiest rendering wins. We are focused on discovering and showcasing the solid design process behind a beautifully executed concept.
Three general stages of the design process must be demonstrated, how you choose to interpret each stage is up to you:
a. Conceptualization
b. Schematics
c. Final Design
