The Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra announces a two-stage architectural competition for a conceptual design of the main municipal concert hall for 1800 seats as well as the adaptation of the ex-Veterinary Institute's historical buildings located at Grochowska Street in Warsaw.

The objective of the Competition is to indicate the best design of Warsaw’s new cultural centre related to Orkiestra Sinfonia Varsovia. The new centre will not only be an attractive place to present classical music and other genres of art, but also a place where to spend free time. Any Competition entry must take into consideration the international, regional and local dimensions of this undertaking.
As a result of the Competition a Participant or Participants will be indicated to qualify to participate in a public procurement procedure conducted sole-source or by offering in the competitive negotiations without publication to do design works constituting a Competition entry.
The maximal planned joint costs of performing the works effected on the basis of the Competition entry should not exceed gross EUR 110 million. These costs include total costs of construction works connected with the effecting of the engineering structure made on the basis of the architectural design developed in the scope of the post-Competition public procurement procedures. These costs include in particular the costs of erecting and adaptation of engineering structures, their comprehensive equipment as well as the costs of the works related to land development.
