Every year, the International Prizes reward bold and visionary architects, designers, artists, engineers and urban planners from all over the world who imagine the habitats of the future related to the Ocean or to Space.

Description
The Jacques Rougerie - Académie des beaux-arts Foundation Awards give architects, designers, engineers, inventors and artists a unique opportunity to propose innovative, daring and disruptive projects. They reward biomimetic, multidisciplinary architectural projects in 3 categories: "Sea", "Space" and "Climate & Rising Water".
Three international Grand Prix Awards reward biomimetic and multidisciplinary architectural projects.
- An "Architecture and Innovation for the Sea" Grand Prix Award
Free topic or one of the following themes: the coast and the sea, the ports of the future, the village under the sea, the center of the sea...
- An "Architecture and Innovation for Space" Grand Prix Award
Free topic or one of the following themes: the lunar or Martian village, an orbital space port or on a star, a research station on one of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn...
- An "Architecture et Innovation related to Climate and Rising Water" Grand Prix Award
Free topic or one of the following themes: the rise of the waters, the coastline and the sea in general or in particular (e.g. African coastline), submersions, erosion, living and living at the rhythm of the tides...
The Special "Lab Architecture and Innovation" Award
The jury reserves the right to choose from all the candidates selected in phase 2 a project that has responded to one of the 3 themes (Sea, Space, Climate and rising water) by its ability to provide an experimental response in the near future (2050), and to be realized or prototyped, and will award him the Lab Architecture and Innovation Award.
