Description
Welcome to the 8th annual Kokuyo Design Award competition.
We asked ourselves what role product creation could play in facing such challenges as environmental issues and communication between peoples. In doing so we felt the need to go back to the principles and to capture the essence of design, and decided on this year's theme, "foundations."
Last year we released three new products from 2007 winning entries "Kamikire," "Tidbit," and "Beetle Tip," adding to our successful products from previously awarded entries "Tamahocchi," "Kadokeshi," and the "Campus note Paracuruno."
The Kokuyo Design Award seeks to cast creativity and ideas into commercial products available to everyone. So come and participate in the Kokuyo Design Award 2009. We look forward to your creative entries.
