Description
Object of the competition is to create ideas to handle the dynamic development of the area along the 3rd ring road of Moscow. Main focus is on the topic of "light", which participants are asked to use as a tool to create a unique cityscape by “highlighting” (with the help of illumination or media facades) new buildings, urban spaces and infrastructural elements, advertising panels and objects of public art etc. to aid the development of a structure and identity for the area, but also its marketing. After developing guiding principles or a vision for Moscow’s 3rd ring participants are asked to exemplify for selected locations how these could be illuminated or how they could be enlivened or changed by temporary facades.
