Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism announces international Competition for the conceptual architectural design of the CITES center and the ZOO with surrounding contact area in Berane

The general and ultimate goal is the creation of a new modern affirmative space on the territory of the Municipality of Berane, which will contribute to the education and improvement of the care of endangered animal species, as well as the overall offer of the city, and the mapping of Berane as a special tourist destination.

Description
Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism announces international Competition for the conceptual architectural design of the CITES center and the ZOO with surrounding contact area in Berane.
Moreover, the participants are requested to provide a conceptual design that will suggest a new particular content that will suitably address the river and other existing and planned parts of the scope contact zone while taking into account the natural and morphological qualities of the area. Access to material for all user groups is essential in establishing high ambient values and beautiful design. To stimulate intense use of the area by both Berane locals and visitors from other cities in Montenegro, it is vital to broadening the scope of the competition with engaging content.
The overall objective is to develop a brand-new, contemporary affirmative space on the Municipality of Berane property. This will improve the care of endangered animal species, the city's overall amenities, and promotion as a unique travel destination.
