Overview

The idea is to spotlight and acknowledge the merit of unpublished research and new projects to provide greater visibility and a chance at success for the new generation of architects and architecture photographers, promoting what they are doing or planning for contemporary living.

Categories
First Work category: completed and built architecture projects by architects who graduated after 1st January 2000
Research category: unbuilt projects for urban redevelopment, ideal buildings, dissertations and theoretical reflection on contemporary living by architects who graduated after 1st January 2000
Photography category: Photography study of the new urban Landmark with a creative and original interpretation.

First Work category: trip for two people to Helsinki with accommodation for 3 nights during the Helsinki Design Week(13th – 16th September) + tour
Research category: 3-month internship at BNKR architecture firm in Mexico City (date to be arranged). Floornature will cover the winner’s travelling expenses to Mexico City.
Photography category: trip for two people to Helsinki with accommodation for 3 nights during the Helsinki Design Week(13th – 16th September) + tour
Two honourable mentions in each category: publication and exhibition

- Research category (Theoretical projects):
6 slides (1280X1024 pixel), abstract of the research (no more than 3500 keystrokes)
- Photography category:
3 to 5 photographs, written presentation (no more than 1800 keystrokes), photographer’s bio (no more than 500 keystrokes), expression permission for reproduction
