Rehabilitating Wenchuan Earthquake

The earthquake which occurred on May 12, 2008 has brought great disaster to Wenchuan Area. When grieving over the dead, we should also pay great attention to millions of survivors who are forced to leave their homes. This competition is aimed at rehabilitating new homes for the survivors.

Description
The topic of this competition is home rehabilitation.

Home rehabilitation is not just to build temporary refuge, but to extend the habitation and traditional culture of original inhabitants. We pay great attention to building permanent safe house and its sustainable usage. This competition put great emphasis on offering reasonable construction method and acceptable suggestions for new specification of housing design in order to cope with the complex geological condition and adapt to contemporary inhabitative pattern and scale and use recycling green material efficiently, also have to provide with the surrounding of “family of community” by flexible combination of units.
