The State government hopes that through this exercise, the quality of life of Rifle Range community, in particular, will be significantly improved.
Among others, the proposals should take into consideration of the followings:
- A viable master planning that responds towards the current and future need of the community. The proposal has to be environmental friendly. Adoption of ‘Malaysia Green Building Index’ is highly encouraged.
- A development proposal that addresses the infrastructural and social issues faced by the community (such as lack of recreation space, car parking areas and proper commercial units).
- An interesting concept for landscape (both soft and hardscape) that complements the overall redevelopment approach.
All proposals should include a good concept on master-planning and landscape. The proposed distribution of development components must also be practical and viable.
Participants are allowed to use their creativity to justify the scale of their development components based on the site potentials. All existing buildings within the site can either be retained, demolished, reconstructed, retrofitted or relocated.
