Overview
We conceived the competition in order to diminish the stigma attached to healthcare design, to encourage academic exploration of the subject matter and hopefully and invite many more talented young architects and designers to work within it.

Description
By establishing a focus on what is an exciting and expanding industry, AfH believes the quality of design within the healthcare sector will improve and progress as more graduate architects choose to work within it, and this in turn will encourage and motivate existing architects within the industry.
As with last year, entries will be taken of all student healthcare related designs. The project does not have to be fully resolved, and can equally be conceptual as practical. This year we will also be offering the option of using a brief as provided by AfH. Additionally we are able to offer advice and input to universities wishing to use a healthcare building type on their curriculum. Interested Tutors and students should contact AfH.
