Description
Throughout history, architects have created the world’s best houses. However, few of them have lived in a house they themselves have designed, and the few who have done so have always preferred to employ a language quite distinct from the one they tend to use with their clients. This paradox emerges from the fact that we architects are much better at reading others than we are at reading ourselves, coupled with the fact that we avoid having to adopt a given defined “style”, which we may end up feeling uncomfortable with at some later date.
The aim of this competition is to encourage each participating architect to make their own home, within an area no greater than 400 square meters, defining the spaces they want and supporting their proposal.

Jury
The architects themselves will vote for any one of the projects, apart from their own.
