The first competition is organized to enhance knowledge and creativity in architecture and architectural education.

Description
The thematic areas of the competition for architectural research papers include;
1.1. Teaching and learning methods in architecture
1.2. Heritage and sustainability
1.3. Architecture for all (including children), cultural diversity, spatial needs
1.4. Architecture and urbanism

Jury
The first selection will be made on a Regional basis. An international jury will make the final selection.

Prize
Grand prize (1): 1500 euros
Second prizes (2): 1000 euros each
Third prizes (3): 500 euros each

Entry Fee
None

Entries
One original and unpublished research paper that is not longer than 30,000 characters (spaces included) with a maximum of 20 images (A-4 size paper)

Timetable
Submission of the result of the regional adjudication to the international jury on or before: May 30, 2011
Rating of the selected papers for selection of the winners and mentions by the international jury members, on or before: June 15, 2011
Verification of winner’s eligibility: June 28, 2011
Announcement of the final winners (on the Competition Website): June 30, 2011
