Description
ADA 2011 - Architecture Dissertation Award is an annual international competition for Architecture and Engineering final thesis projects, promoted by AWR Competitions - Architecture Workshop in Rome. ADA 2011 awards the most outstanding thesis on the topic of “Architecture and Sustainability”, in line with the AWE vision.
In fact we believe that nowadays it is impossible to address the theme of “Architecture” without engaging a series of aspects that concern sustainability in the widest sense. In the near future, design at all scales, will be confronted with the increasing need to bring man closer to its surrounding environment. The challenge for tomorrow's Architects and Engineers is to demonstrate that development and evolution can take place keeping in mind the concept of “green living”.
