Bankside BikeShed Competition

Result

The Architecture Foundation, on behalf of Better Bankside, is delighted to announce Studio Meda as the winner of the Bankside Bikeshed design competition.

Studio Meda's design integrates a roof structure providing shelter from the rain with the locking facilities required for the secure storage of bicycles. The result is a clean, robust, elegant and sustainable solution that would be instantly recognisable, and hold its own outside any of Bankside's many statement buildings.

Studio Meda's design will be built as a prototype later this year.
