Degree & Profession 2011 - Virtual Thesis Expo and International Award

The award aims to offer an opportunity of professional growth to graduates and students by creating a connection with practitioners and institutions working in their sectors.

Description
Degree & Profession launched its eighth annual Virtual Expo, an online database in which graduates can upload their degree projects or Master’s theses to gain international visibility with employers and companies seeking new talent and creativity.
The purpose of the awards are to increase the visibility of the winning projects and to acknowledge the skills of their authors. Therefore, every two months 10 projects will be selected* based upon the number of visits, countries of provenance and the number of votes received in the previous two months.

1st Prize: € 500 + FREE EXHIBITION in Florence + FREE PARTICIPATION to "Life Beyond Tourism" Award
2nd Prize: € 500 + FREE EXHIBITION in Florence + FREE PARTICIPATION to "Life Beyond Tourism" Award
3rd - 12th Prize: FREE EXHIBITION in Florence + FREE PARTICIPATION to "Life Beyond Tourism" Award
The Exhibition and the Participation to "Life Beyond Tourism" Award are referred to the FLORENCE WORLD FESTIVAL that will take place in Florence on March 1-4, 2012.

Written presentation of the project in English, divided as follows:
- OBJECTIVES of the work (maximum of 2,000 characters)
- DEVELOPMENT, METHODOLOGY and TOOLS used for the work (maximum of 2,000 characters)
- CONCLUSIONS (maximum of 2,000 characters)
6 other images to complete the presentation
