Description
Architecture Studio Sinestezia is pleased to welcome architects worldwide to participate in the International Architecture Competition for Boka Artist Residence.
On the Coast of Montenegro in a Mediterranean ambience inspiring for art, science and culture, Boka Artist Residence is conceived to provide an opportunity for people with similar interests from all over the world to meet and work in one place without any formal constraints, requests, demands or project proposals required in similar institutions.

It will be a place in which interaction and cooperation is based on the self-determination of visitors, the principle of self-organization and an informal environment. A place in which visitors can create their conditions of work, generate contacts with other visitors, and develop their projects without any formal constraints.

The competition site is located on the Adriatic Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. Advantages of the location include proximity of two international airports: the International Airport Tivat, 17 km and Dubrovnik, 32 km from the site.
The project should address the concept of Boka Artist Residence, aimed to create a space which will stimulate and inspire all forms of artistic activity, dynamic interactions, exchanges, dialogue and cooperation.

The spatial matrix of the competition site should satisfy the project vision demands, namely small housing units, the Boka Artist Residence facility, garden, and pedestrian route.
