The International Competition invites members of the architectural, planning, surveying, engineering, interior design, landscaping and related professional fields and the general public to contribute ideas and concepts on the proposed project of “Bruce Lee’s Residence” at No.41 Cumberland Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong.

Description
The property located at No. 41 Cumberland Road, Kowloon Tong is the former residence of international film star Mr. Bruce Lee. The property owner, Mr. Yu Pang-lin, has agreed to donate the property to the Government with a view to restoring and preserving the original appearance of Bruce Lee's residence, which will be opened for visit by members of the public and visitors. The restored residence is to commemorate Bruce Lee's contributions to the film industry and martial arts, and is expected to attract visitors from all over the world to pay tribute to one of the greatest legends of our time.
Participants should submit ideas and design concepts for the following according to the configuration shown on the drawings.
(i) The original building façades and internal layout of Bruce Lee’s Residence should be respected.
(ii) Provision of the following facilities while respecting the original layout: exhibition centre, audio-visual room, souvenir shop, Kung Fu corner, library, reception counter, landscaping and recreational Areas, other facilities
