Description
It is our duty and responsibility to make sure that in the future our young people find an environment that is worthy to live. This was the driving force that made Mr. Wolfgang Neumann 7 years ago start the “World Award for Sustainability”, today’s most prestigious and acknowledged environmental award. The ENERGY GLOBE aims at informing the international public about as many sustainable projects as possible, which are reproducible.Every year, about 700 projects from all over the world are submitted in the ENERGY GLOBE Award competition.

Winners are also presented a 17 kg bronze statue and a certificate.The winning projects are presented at a tv gala, which is broadcast by international TV stations reaching 2.5 billion households.

The duly completed applicaton form, a general project description summarizing the purpose, objectives and accomplishments of the program/project including a time schedule of the project implementation - max. 2 pages.
Timetable
July 31, 2007: the deadline for project submissions by mail, email or fax. When project documentations are sent by mail, the deadline applies to the post-stamp.
