Description
Each team member has a defined responsibility. The theatre students will act as the “Client” and the architectural students as the “Designer”. The “Client” is responsible to teach the “Designer” about the workings and artistry of Theatre! The solution MUST be the result of a “Conversation” between the “Client” and “Designer”. History proves the most successful theatre design solutions take into account all aspects and needs of theatre production, artist presentation and audience interaction.

Prize
The three Finalists will each be awarded $1000.00 (one thousand dollars) to assist in travel to Houston.
The First Place Team will be awarded an additional $500.00 (five hundred dollars).

The Design should be presented as a single display, minimum size 42” high x 60” wide. Display should be at least 2 panels but no more than 4 panels mounted on 1/8” foam core.
The Design Process is to be documented in an accompanying Brochure of 11”x 17” sheets, not more than 6 pages. The “Team” can use text, photos, drawings to show the meetings and “Client” - “Designer” relationship. The “Team Name” must be on each sheet.
