Description
In order to cope with these present-day social challenges, robot technologies, which are taking on the role of enhancing and performing the functions of life forms - particularly humans - are viewed as a potential composite technology leading to effective solutions. for International Design Competition 2006 JDF selected the theme "ROBOT," calling upon the world to seek new relations between humans and the things around us, and to propose innovative design ideas that will help realize new interfaces for human functions. Through International Design Competition 2007, JDF would like to further advance such commitment with the competition theme "ROBOT 2." JDF will welcome design proposals that are based on the concepts of ergonomic design and universal design, and that can use the power of design to present an ideal social paradigm we truly require.
