Overview
The Lexus Design Award was created in 2013 to support up and coming creators. By offering the chance to work with a worldclass designer and have a prototype realized, the award hopes to provide a unique opportunity unlike any other. As the Lexus Design Award is open to everyone, we always seek to provide themes that can be interpreted across a wide range of disciplines. So far, award winners have explored motion and curiosity with the likes of British product designer Sam Hecht, Japanese architect Junya Ishigami, American game designer Robin Hunicke and Taiwan's Arthur Huang.

・入賞12作品のクリエイターをミラノデザインウィーク2015に招待
・その内4作品には、受賞作のプロトタイプ制作費として最大250万円を
支援し、担当メンターとのセッションを通じて、2015年1～3月の間で受賞作のプロトタイプを制作
・2015年4月にミラノデザインウィークのレクサス・ブースにて4作品のプロトタイプ、並びに入賞8作品のパネルを展示
・プロトタイプを制作する4作品のクリエイターは、ミラノデザインウィーク2015において、プレゼンテーションを行い、最終的にグランプリ1作品を決定
