Description
LAMP aims to introduce a broader audience to lighting design while promoting and connecting emerging talents to new markets. Each year the competition challenges designers to approach their lighting fixtures with the guidance of a theme. Competition Finalists from around the world are showcased at the L A M P Opening Reception in Vancouver, BC.
Moving into our 5th year of the competition & exhibition, we have decided to extend the overall timeframe... We are very excited to announce that L A M P is evolving from our annual competition & event to a biannual format. This will provide designers time to fully execute their designs and prototypes for the entry deadline & exhibition.

Entry Fee
- ESTABLISHED (Entrant’s business or professional design career has been active for a minimum of 3 years.):
Early Bird (June 1- August 15): $70
Regular (August 16- November 15): $85
Late (November 16- December 15): $100
- EMERGING (Entrant has launched their business or professional career within the last 3 years. Entrant must NOT be enrolled in any post-secondary design program.):
Early Bird: $45
Regular: $60
