Overview

The Competition invites members of the architectural, engineering, landscaping and related professional fields and the general public to contribute ideas and concepts on aesthetically vibrant noise barrier / enclosure designs for future reference and implementation by the HKSARG(Hong Kong Special Administrative Region).

Description
The Competition consists of three settings for noise barrier / enclosure design as follows (refer to Annex 4 in Competition Document for information on settings and site plans):

Setting 1: Tai Po Tai Wo Road for noise barrier / enclosure design in residential setting;
Setting 2: Gascoigne Road Flyover for noise barrier / enclosure design in urban setting; and
Setting 3: Tuen Mun Road for noise barrier / enclosure design in new town setting.

Submissions containing ideas and design concepts for two settings with the combinations from the following categories must be submitted for each Entry:

Category A: Setting 1 and Setting 2; or
Category B: Setting 1 and Setting 3

A participant of this Competition is allowed to submit ideas and design concepts for both Category A and Category B in separate Entries.
