Description
The international architectural design competition for the new Paris Courthouse (TGI) on the Tolbiac site of the ZAC Paris Rive Gauche (mixed development zone) was launched by the Etablissement Public du Palais de Justice de Paris (EPPJP) on March 28, 2007.

This competition includes a preliminary selection of designers. An international jury will select the candidates. In view of the challenges raised by this exceptional project for French Justice and Paris, the EPPJP chose to give this competition a wide scope matching its high ambition. Therefore, 10 to 12 architect/engineer teams will be selected by the jury taking into consideration the suitability of their skills, references and means to the requirements of the new TGI project.
