Overview

The editors of ARCHITECTURAL RECORD announce the 2009 Record Houses awards. For more than 50 years, RECORD has presented an annual collection of projects from around the globe that represent exemplary residential design. Entry is open to any architect registered in the U.S. or abroad. This year, sustainability remains a significant criterion in evaluating Record Houses. Also of particular interest are projects that incorporate innovation in program, building technology, materials, and form.
