10th Annual Wayne Grace Memorial Student Design Competition

The objective of the competition is "to gather outstanding examples of landscape architectural work which clearly demonstrate in words and images that can be easily understood by the public, regulators, landscape architects and other design professionals how the practice of landscape architecture and licensing affects the quality of life."

Description
Few people who regularly use the facilities designed by landscape architects realize how the quality of their lives is improved by the licensedprofessional’s work. To improve the understanding of these issues and to demonstrate the importance of landscape architecture and licensure, the Landscape Architectural Registration Boards Foundation (LARBF) sponsors this annual design competition.
Submissions may pertain to any project which affects the natural and built environment and has a demonstrated, positive impact on the quality of life of the public.

Jury
A jury of licensed landscape architects from across the U.S. and Canada

Prize
1st place: $3,000
Runner-up: $2,000
3rd place: $1,000

No more than 4 Drawings (20" x 30", or metric equivalent) and a Essay (no more than 1,000 words)
