Description
The purpose of this competition is to select an optimal design for the establishment of a 'National Museum of World Writing' for the collection, conservation, research and exhibition of the writing systems of various nations across the globe, and to create a multi-use cultural space for experience and education as well as creative activities.
Site Area: 19,418㎡ (Natural Green Area, Free Economic Zone, Building Coverage Ratio: 30%, Floor Area Ratio: 150%)
Building Area: 15,650㎡ (adjustments within 5% are permitted)
Design Scope: National Museum of World Writing (outdoor space, parking etc.)
Construction Cost (Estimated): ₩55.052 Billion KRW (surtax incl.)
Building Construction Cost: ₩43.353 Billion KRW
Exhibition Hall Construction Cost: ₩11.699 Billion KRW
Design Fee (Estimated): ₩2.802 Billion Won (surtax incl.)
Design Period: 360 days from the beginning of project initiation (holidays incl.)
Construction Period: 720 days from the beginning of project initiation
