Description
The 11th IAHH International Student Design Competition (ISDC) shall focus on the theme of redevelopment of a dense residential locality in an existing city with an aim to transform the area into a vibrant humane and sustainable community through innovative planning, design and construction which addresses the key issue of evolving sustainable humane habitats.
The participants are required to select a metropolitan area in their / any country and study the social, economic and environmental context of the metropolis and identify a site approximately admeasuring 10-15 ha. The analysis should be used to develop a planning and design brief for addressing the demands of a projected population over a period of 20-25 years.
