Description
The brief is to design a temporary, freestanding, transportable and contemporary showcase Pavilion to be installed in the Museum Gardens based on the year’s Triumph Pavilion theme of "Infusion”, hence the Pavilion will be entitled "Infusion Pavilion”. It calls on participants to create a unique space representing the author’s visual interpretation of creative infusion or fusion of tiling materials into the design form to enhance the thoughts, images or sensations generated by the Pavilion. Tiles are universally employed forms of architectural decoration with current improved contemporary techniques resulting in an infinite colour palette to achieve such a depth of visual richness of remarkable quality architecture and interiors which the Pavilion hopes to explore.
The Pavilion design should also be inclusive, highlight and encourage the need for ecological and sustainable design principles where possible. It should also not exceed 3 meters in height and 80 Square meters in area.
