Urbantine Project - Fast Architecture Competition

コンペ結果

The winner of The Urbantine Project 2007 has now been decided.

"Work/Space/Ply/Time (W/S/P/T)" by emerging architect Alex Haw was selected from 40 entries which made their way in front of our judging panel. W/S/P/T impressed judges in its detail, imagination and feasibility in response to the brief; entrants were invited to explore the changing nature of the 21st Century workspace whilst considering concepts of Fast Architecture.

W/S/P/T dissects the subject of working intimately by utilising every piece of redundant space within a compact and ergonomically designed structure. The structure itself can be erected without the use of rivets or glue – the basis of the design being a series of interlocking panels.

Alex Haw, currently a tutor at the AA, studied at The Bartlett and began his architectural career as architectural assistant within several leading practices including Nicolas Grimshaw & Partners and Diller + Scofiio. Haw now runs Atmos, a fledgling architectural practice. Details of Haw's latest work can be seen at www.aaschool.net/lighthive.

1st. Place: Work/Space/Ply/Time (W/S/P/T), Alex Haw
