Overview

The subject of the Contest is preparation of a urban and architectonic concept design of John Paul II Centre ‘Do not fear’ premises at the site of so called ‘White Seas’ in Cracow

Description
The objective of the Contest is to widely confront creative design solutions and to select the project of the highest aesthetic, functional and operating values and to designate the author (author team) to be contracted by the Client to prepare the building permit design and engineering design of the prospective venture as well as to perform author’s supervision of design implementation.

The functional application programme is consisted of: The House of John Paul II (museum, institute, chapel, conference centre, catering outlets and administration), Retreat Centre, hotel facilities (hotel, hostel, camping), open-space amphitheatre, outdoor Way of the Cross, a footbridge etc.

The drawings should be placed on 4 (four) to 6 (six) inflexible boards of 100 x 70 cm / the descriptive part should be submitted in 3 (three) copies as a A-4 binder not exceeding 5 numbered pages / etc.
