The winner of the Asplund competition is Delphinium, by Heike Hanada, Weimar, Germany.

The jury approved 1,170 entries making this competition one of the world's largest architectural competitions of all time. The jury would like to thank all the competitors for their efforts.

開催概要

アスプルンド設計のストックホルム図書館の増築計画。増築のための敷地は明確に定まっていない。アスプルンドの初期計画案の中にもある３つのアネックス棟（アスプルンドの設計ではない）を保存するか取り壊すかの選択は、参加者にゆだねられている。
