Parramatta City Council is delighted to invite you to participate in an exciting new ideas competition ‘Ideas on Edge’. Council is inviting everyone from students to the most talented and creative designers, planners and artists to submit visionary ideas for a new multi-useprecinct for a 2Ha site located along our City’s river front. A total prize pool of $70,000 is available in the categories of Design, Arts, Commendation and Student. ‘Ideas on Edge’ opens on 17 March 2011 and closes on 11 May 2011. Prize
Design Award: $50,000 for the best overall presentation of a coherent and potentially deliverable concept
Arts Award: $10,000 for the best artistic response
Student Award: $5,000 for the best student entry 25 years or under undertaking tertiary studies
Commendation: $5,000 to be awarded at the Jury’s discretion
