INDEX: Award 2011
人間の暮らしに寄与するデザインを表彰する隔年開催のデザインアワードで、5カテゴリーあって対象は広く、賞金は各1000万円。過去の受賞作品には、iPodや汚水濾過装置、義足などの他、途上国の起業家に個人が貸付けできる小口金融システムや、ハリケーン・カトリーヌの被害地でのインスタレーションもあった。

Description
INDEX: Design to Improve Life is a Danish, mission-based, non-profit organization with worldwide outreach. We promote the application of design and design processes to improve important areas of people’s lives worldwide. Our main tools are large-scale public events, labs, education, and communication.
INDEX:Award is split into five categories: Body, Home, Work, Play and Community.
