inspiration HOTEL competition

スペインの建築系情報サイトが主催する恒例アイディアコンペ。今回のテーマは、創造的なホテル。ライブラリーやギャラリー、創造活動のための静寂な空間などを有し、規模はおよそ500坪。

Description
The pace of urban life, information overload, visual and noise pollution, invasive advertising and other external factors constantly overstimulate our senses altering and distorting our perception of reality. Nowadays it is difficult to find an evocative space for inspiration, which is not only an aesthetically pleasing site, but also psychologically and emotionally neutral, where it is possible to concentrate, clear the mind, the consciousness and the artistic sensibilities.
In ancient cultures, people had a closer relationship to art and creativity in their daily activities, crafts or hobbies. At the present entertainment is channeled differently, leaving the creativity and introspection in the background. It is a general perception that we don’t have time for art, creation and introspection.
Therefore, there is a need for spaces that promote concentration, artistic inspiration and meditation. Try to imagine a space for artistic-spiritual retreat, where artists and hobbyists can spend some days developing their creativity in any focus area: write a book, carry out a dance workshop, a music program, paint, sculpt or simply meditate.
