応募資格 Architect led teams of qualified designers

Description
Through the competition, MK:U aims to select an outstanding multidisciplinary design team and concept design for an exemplary new university for Milton Keynes (MK). Collaboration between established and emerging talent, and between UK and international talent, is strongly encouraged.
At the first stage, MK:U is seeking creative teams led by an architect. Teams should include as a minimum: architect, urban designer/masterplanner, landscape architect, structural engineer, civil/utilities engineer and MEP (services) engineer. Internationally-based teams will be required to propose a UK-based executive architect as part of their team.
At stage one, we are not seeking a design but a demonstration of qualifications: company information; details of your proposed team; and your relevant experience. Entries will be accepted via the online form; no paper documents will be accepted.
Shortlisted teams will be invited to a site visit and seminar in MK and will receive further detailed briefing information. An honorarium of £30,000 will be paid to each shortlisted team that submits a compliant tender. A technical panel will review the entries and produce a report for the jury, who will conduct interviews and select a winner.
The design challenge at stage two will focus on the phase one development of MK:U, as well as the phased masterplan framework. Teams will be required to propose additional consultancy including Principal Designer; BIM lead; sustainability/BREEAM; lift/vertical transportation; fire engineer; acoustic engineer; façade engineer; interior designer; IT/AV consultant; catering consultant; access consultant; security consultant; and highways consultant.
The designs produced by the shortlisted teams will be exhibited, physically and online, and MKC will be seeking public feedback on the proposals. The jury will be chaired by Sir Peter Gregson, Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor of Cranfield University and chair of the MK Futures 2050 Commission. The full jury will be announced prior to the start of stage two.
