The jury meeting of the MOCAPE Shenzhen has been hold at ShenZhen on 5th and 6th of July.

Final result which all of the jury have agreed on consist two part. First, no prizes are granted according to the final vote, instead four finalists are selected by jury. Second, all finalists will be asked to do the second round to further develop their schemes.

Description
Futian District is Shenzhen's most important central region for administration, business and culture. Both its location and size make it not only a crucial functional core for the Pearl Delta but also an exchanging point between China and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and regions beyond. In this district, our Museum Of Contemporary Art &. Planning Exhibition (MOCAPE) will be located on a site functions as part of Shenzhen's civic centre, where the City Library, Opera House, Central Bookstore, Youth Activity Hall (YAH) and other civic building have been built. The building of MOCAPE will enhance the service of our civic centre.

The MOCAPE includes two independent and yet inter-connected parts: The museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and Planning Exhibition (PE)
The total floor area of MOCAPE is approximate 80,000 square meters

Competition Type
One-Stage anonymous competition. Six world-class design institutions will be invited to participate. All qualified entries will have equal opportunities during the jury assessments; go through the same assessment process with the same criteria.

The First Prize (x1), Be granted a privilege to the contract of the project
The Second Prize (x1), US$ 50,000
The Third Prize (x1), US$ 50,000
The Finalists (up to 5), US$ 20,000

Each entry must comprise Summary of the project description, General Plan, etc., and Project cost estimation.

Each entry must comprise at the following elements:
All contents mentioned above in JPG/PDF format, NO less than 300dpi.
Design models in 3DS format.
