Setouchi Triennale 2013 Call for Art Proposals

The Setouchi Triennale is a contemporary art festival that takes place on multiple islands of the Seto Inland Sea. It was first held in 2010 and it attracted a huge response from hundreds of thousands of visitors. We are planning to hold the festival again in 2013.

Description
We are seeking site-specific art proposals in four categories:
1.Works using the piers
2.Works that take the island’s nature and history as their theme
3.Alley Project: Works created mainly in the alleys of the Ogijima island and the alley to the “Damon’s cave” of the Megijima island
4.Other: Open proposals

Prize
Number of Selected Proposals: 10 to 30
The selected applicants will be awarded the production fee which amounts from 500,000 yen to JPY 2,500,000.
