Description
An initiative designed by Türkiye, supported and governed by the UNEP-hosted Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction. The YeS Awards celebrates exemplary green building projects across design, indoor quality, material selection, and energy performance.
The purpose of this competition is to promote energy-efficient, low-carbon, climate-resilient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable building practices, to make good practice examples visible, and to contibute to disseminate them on a global scale.
Open to the participation of sustainable buildings and project designs from different countries, thiscompetition has been established to encourage and reward outstanding practices in the field of sustainability.
The competition is organized in the following 4 categories:
a. Green Building Main Category (Only for Existing Buildings)
b. Sustainable Design Main Category (Only for New Buildings)
c. Facility Management Category (Only for Existing Buildings)
d. Energy Efficiency Category (For All Buildings)
